Reservations & Payment

Reservation methods:

Reservations can be made directly by phone, via our website, or through Online Travel Agency (OTA) sites such as Airbnb, Cottages in Canada, and VRBO. Please note that booking directly with us by phone or website benefits both the host and guests, as OTA platforms charge additional fees for their services.

Forms of payment:

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Interac e-Transfer
  • PayPal (Debit or Credit Card)

Part payments:

A deposit of 50% of your booking total, minus the refundable damage deposit, is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is required 24 hours prior to your arrival.

If you cancel your reservation at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, a full refund will be provided. Cancellations made with shorter notice will not be eligible for a refund. View our Cancellations & Refunds policy for more information.

Damage deposit:

A damage deposit of $1,500 is required to reserve the property. This deposit will be fully refunded the day after departure, provided no property damage is noted during the stay.

Occupancy & Stay

Check-in  and check-out:

Check-in time is at 4:30 PM, and check-out time is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and will incur an additional fee of $50 per hour. If you arrive late or depart early, regular rates will apply; no discounts will be provided. During your stay, self check-in is available via keypad access.

Capacity and age:

The property accommodates a maximum of 12 guests. Only guests listed on the rental agreement are permitted to stay. Guests must be a minimum of 35 years old unless accompanied by their children. We kindly request that all guests maintain a peaceful atmosphere during their stay. An additional fee of $75 per guest applies for parties exceeding 7 guests.

Minimum stay:

A minimum stay of two nights is required. For long weekends, a minimum stay of three nights is necessary, excluding Thanksgiving and Remembrance Day weekends.

Before you depart:

  • Gather Used Towels: Please collect any used towels and place them in the designated laundry area or laundry basket.
  • Dispose of Trash: Ensure all trash is properly disposed of in the designated bins or trash receptacles provided.
  • Turn Off Appliances and Lights: Please turn off all lights, appliances, and electronics to conserve energy.
  • Secure the Property: Lock all doors and windows before leaving to ensure the security of the property.
  • Notify the Host: Once you have departed, please inform host to confirm your check-out and address any final concerns or feedback.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation deadline:

If you cancel your reservation at least 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, a full refund will be provided. Cancellations made with shorter notice will not be eligible for a refund.

Exceptions for unforeseen circumstances:

Certain unforeseen circumstances, such as severe storms in the wintertime leading to highway closures, may occur. In such rare instances, a refund may be granted for cancellations directly caused by these unavoidable events. Please contact us as soon as possible in such cases to discuss your options.

Rules & Etiquette

No smoking allowed inside:

Smoking (including cigarettes, vape, and marijuana) is strictly prohibited inside the property. Evidence of smoking indoors will result in a cleaning fee of $500.

Hot tub and grill maintenance:

Please ensure that the hot tub is covered at all times when not in use and before departure. Additionally, clean the grill after each use to prevent wildlife, such as bears, from damaging the barbecue.

Noise and party restrictions:

Please refrain from hosting any disruptive parties or playing excessively loud music during your stay. Respect for the tranquility of our surroundings and our neighbors is essential.

Pet policy:

We welcome pets with pre-approval. An additional fee of $50 per pet applies to cover any extra cleaning required.
